Fancy playing something a little different? Award winning indie game Antihero launches today, Monday July 10, after 4 years of development. Developr Tim Conkling has teamed up with publisher Versus Evil to make the title available on Steam for PC and Mac. Meaning you can enjoy the single or multiplayer challenge to rule a gaslight Victorian underworld.
Antihero has already received praise, plus winning the Whippering Indie Cup in 2015, being a finalist in the Google Play Indie Festival and Indie Plus (2016), and getting an honourable mention at the Independent Games Festival 2016 gfor ‘excellence in design’.
Here’s a trailer to show more about the steps to build a thieves guild. You’ll need to bribe, blackmail and assassinate. And hire underlings to help you rule the streets.
You can play against the AI, or compete in online multiplayer. Handy if you like board games but can’t invite enough friends around every night.
