Eden Rising: Supremacy is a new title just announced by Canadian independent studios Meridian4 and Nvizzio Creations. And it sounds like it could offer an interesting multiplayer co-operative experience by allowing up to 16 players to work together in an open world environment with a mix of survival and tower defense mechanics.
With up to 8 players online and local co-op due for the Steam early access release, and up to 16 for the full launch, you could find yourself working together with a big group of other players.
And it sounds like you might need the help. Eden Rising: Supremacy puts you on an alien world. And your arrival has prompted the native wildlife and an ancient machine race known as The Crucibles to go to war. Now The Crucibles have offered endless power in return for your protection, so your tribe of co-op players will need to defend them against hostile aliens. Which means exploring, crafting and building weapons, armour and defenses as a team to survive the alien onslaught and protect The Crucibles.
Merdidian4 and Nvizzio Creations have formed their own publishing label, The Wall Productions, for their debut self-published game. And the Steam Early Access version should already have 30+ hours of entertainment and endgame challenges for the tribes of players to face.
“We are incredibly excited to announce Eden Rising: Supremacy. Not only are we stepping into self-publishing for the very first time, but we have worked hard to create something truly special. I believe players will love the co-op experience we have created in this lush, vivid world.” said Jeff Giasson, President of The Wall Productions.
Eden Rising: Supremacy should be on Steam Early Access in early May 2018, with a full launch estimated after 6 months, towards the end of 2018.
