If you own a Switch and like racing games then you will probably be interested in the new Nintendo Switch wheel from Numskull. At £14.99, it won’t break the bank, even if the features are understandably limited at that price point.
The Numskull Nintendo Switch Joy Con Steering Wheel Table Attachment will probably take you longer to say, than it will to set up. Just use the suckers to attach it firmly to a suitable flat surface, put your controllers in, and you’ll be able to race in any game which enables motion control, such as Mario Kart.
It’s been designed to have soft mounting brackets to avoid any damage to your controllers, and there’s apparently some ‘resistance technology’ inside. Given the price, design and light weight approach, it’s safe to assume some rubber bands are being used for that resistance.
There’s not really much else to say about the new Nintendo Switch Wheel from Numbskull. It should make racing games feel a little more immersive and fun within reason, and it’ll be fun for younger racers to start using a wheel rather than an analogue stick.
