New Free Skyforge Revenant Update Adds New Class

The new free Skyforge Revenant update is out on September 19th, 2017 for PC and PS4. And it adds a 15th class for the game, which can be unlocked and switched between whenever players want.

The latest class are the axe-wielding Immortal Revenant warlords. Awoken to battle the invades of the plaent Aelion, they siphon life from enemies via shadow magic. Or just chop them apart with their axe.

Apparently the Revenant want to find worthy challengers that can best them in ultimate combat. Sounds like a fun way to spend your time. Either way, it’s another bit of extra content for the free-to-play action MMO from Allods Team and My.com.

So if you fancy some third-person combat MMO action, there’s now 15 different classes to choose from. All to defend the planet Aelion from neighbouring invaders.

Skyforge The Mechanoid War Released on PlayStation 4

The Mechanoid War expansion for free-to-play console and PC MMO Skyforge is available now. We’ve covered the details of the new content in a previous article. But there are some more details, including a release trailer featured below.

The new schedule of content includes a single boss dungeon, and a final challenging adventure.

On July 11, the Mechanoids will step up their game and present heavy resistance in group dungeons “Underground Lake Tareln”, “Kuat-Lien Station”, “Fort Darlek” and “Operation: Medea”. A new single-boss dungeon will test players resolves, but far more important is that the great god of the mechanoids will send forth its Avatar for a first confrontation with Immortals.

On July 25, the final and most challenging adventures will become available to drive the Mechanoids from Aelion once they arrive in “Daren Facility”, “Icy Plateau” and “Hespilion Temple”. Players must gather the best of the best to overcome the final raid of the invasion cycle “Operation: Ophelia” and defeat the god of the Mechanoids itself.

The Mechanoid War expands SkyForge on the PS4

The Mechanoid War is a new expansion for free-to-play MMO SkyForge. It launches on June 27th for PlayStation 4 gamers, and will see players fighting a new robotic army.

The content will see the SkyForge home world of Aelion under threat from a mechanoid force aiming to increase their computing power by invading. So all players in SkyForge are being asked to defend their home planet with whichever of the 14 character classes they prefer.

In addition to the new threats, the free expansion also includes a new Divine Form once you have cleared all adventures and finished a special quest to ascend to godhood. That refers back to the SkyForge story, which has the population of the planet Aelion led by a great guardian god Aeli, who shared part of his life essence before departing to somewhere unknown, which is what powers the player abilities.

In addition to the robot foes, there will be new battles in challenging invasion zones. You’ll also get new boss battles, a completely new 10-man raid, and generation 2 equipment as rewards.

SkyForge has been developed by Russian developers Allods Team, and began development in 2010. It appeared for Windows PCs in 2015 with a public beta, and is now out for the PlayStation 4. Although it’s free-to-play, you do have to pay for an optional premium status. And for certain items to boost your stats, overall DPS. Plus any of the 3 Founders Packs with other rewards.

The Mechanoid War became available to PC players in April. The previous big free expansion was the Risen Exiles, which we’ve previously featured on the site. It arrived for the PS4 in May, as the console version catches up with the PC edition.

Free Risen Exiles Expansion for Skyforge Out May 16

Free-to-play MMORPG Skyforge gets more free content in May, with the free Risen Exiles expansion adding three new character classes for PlayStation 4 gamers.

The Necromancer, Monk and Witch will be added to the roster of immortals to choose from, with new challenges also coming to the game. That includes a scaling endgame zone in the Tacid Dunes region of Aelion and new dungeons for solo and co-op exploration. You’ll also be able to compete in larger player versus player battles, and organised Pantheons can now start all-out wars.

Three classes: Witch, Necromancer, Monk
Inghar Test Area (Group or Pantheon)
Antean Wasteland (Explorable Area)
Phoreus Test Area (5 Player Dungeon)
10 vs. 10 Player versus Player Battles

The Risen Exiles will be added to Skyforge on PlayStation 4 from May 16, 2017.
