Antihero is a turn-based strategy digital board game. Which is a bit of a mouthful, but also sounds like it could be interesting. You’ll become a Master Thief in a gas-lit Victorian underworld attempting to dominate each territory before your rivals. And publishers Versus Evil, with indie eveloper Tim Conkling have released some Antihero pre-order details and a promo trailer.
So if you pre-order the game via Steam now, you’ll get a 20% discount, plus the first DLC pack for free. It’ll be “The Book Club” Master Thief Character Pack which includes skins for four well-known literary characters – Miss Alice, Ebeneezer Scrooge, Sherlock Holmes and Tiny Tim.
The game includes a campaign mode. Or you can challenge riends in regular ‘Casual Match’ or competitive ‘Live Match’ modes as you manager your thieves’ guild, recruit street urchins, hire gands, steal, bribe, blackmail and assassinate your way to victory.
The standard edition of the game will have a regular price of £11.99, with a Deluxe edition including the official soundtrack by Harry Mack and bonus track by Steve Gregan for $19.99.
