Prepare to get stealthy in the popular free-to-play MMORPG, as the Revelation Online ShadowBlade Expansion adds the Assassin Class. Previously that choice was only available in the Chinese edition of the game.
The seventh character option is the only one with stealth skills. Which means you can play in a different way, using patience and cunning to move on your enemies at the right time. And to do that, the Assassin class is an expert in short range melee attacks with daggers, and mid-range combat with chain weapons. So the shadows and corners of Nuanor will become a bit more deadly.
The ShadowBlade Expansion also includes some other features. These include a new mount, being able to switch classes without losing your experience, and get access to dedicated areas for each character class.
The Venom ZX500 is a mutated motorbike, which you’ll be able to ride once you’ve proven yourself worthy by passing a few tests in the questline. And if your current class isn’t working, then you’ll be able to switch class and equipment, and importantly you won’t have to start again from the very first level. The new Class Areas will help, as you will be able to take on a dedicated quest line for each class, and buy brand new skills from vendoes in the class areas.
Revelation Online is developed by NetEase, and published by My.com in Europe and North America. It’s inspired by the books of Chinese writer Jiang Nan, and includes PvP and PvE activity. The Assassin was previously only available in the Chinese edition of the game, and now joins the Gunslinger, Blade Master, Spirtshaper, Vanguard, Swordmage, and Occultist.
